Peaceful Paradise in Jaco - La Sirena, Jaco is a charming little boutique hotel—beautifully landscaped, peaceful, and just a short walk to the beach, which was great for both sunrise and sunset walks. The pool is clean and surrounded by palms and singing birds (we even saw macaws every morning!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicioso.
A truly lovely place, like an oasis. I highly recommend it. It's peaceful, clean, and everything looks well-made with passion. I hope to return soon! Everything is beautiful. The rooms are well-designed for a pleasant stay, and feature several lovely paintings by a local artist. It's a very safe and quiet place.
The best thing that happened to me in Costa Rica. The service is excellent and the place is very welcoming. Delicious breakfasts and cold drinks 24/7. Perfect for a walk on the beach and easy access to shops. The hosts, Lili and Mike, treat you with so much love... I will definitely be back.
Best place ever in the best location. Could watch the sunset every single night in just steps away from our rooms. The owners were so sweet and accommodating, recommended restaurants and helped us plan excursions. Beach bars are all along the beach and walkable all while having the best view. Horses, dogs, and cats everywhere it was the most warming stay. Beautiful town and welcoming people. 10/10 would come back
Stop searching, this is the ONE!!! We stayed at La sirena playa jaco during the last day of our 3 week vacation in Costa Rica and it could not have been a better place to end our vacation. The location is a half minute from the beach, and has safe parking. The place is super cute and very thoughtfully arranged with very pretty decoration and attention to details. But its star is absolutely the staff and the hospitality they provide, with the special mention of Lilly. We have never in all our years of travelling met such a kind, caring, helpful and lovely person.
I spent 4 nights just before the holiday season. Uriel and staff couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant, the room was spotless and comfortable, the decor was beach-kitsch but surprisingly serene. Being on South Beach, a little removed from the clang, crowds and hawkers of the main section of Playa Jaco--a good thing, they are a stone's throw from the ocean. Nice pool.
